Sárfimizdó and Gersekarát solar power plant

The solar power plants commissioned in 2022 and implemented in the municipalities of Sárfimizdó and Gersekarát have a total AC installed capacity of 96 MW and fall under the KÁT settlement system.

As part of the ancillary developments related to the investment, we ensured the facility’s connection to the public electricity network by constructing a new switching station, which we transferred free of charge to the distribution system operator E.ON Észak-Dunántúli Áramhálózati Zrt.

The new roads and junctions serving to provide safe access to the facilities also formed part of the development, and these were likewise made available to the local municipality free of charge, contributing to the development of the region’s infrastructure.

In the hilly area, we placed particular emphasis on environmental considerations: we stabilised the soil to prevent erosion, while also involving local labour in the construction and operation works, strengthening the investment’s integration into the community.

In cooperation with the municipality, the timber generated during site preparation was delivered free of charge to those in need under the social firewood programme, thereby further supporting local communities.
